Beeswax Uses

Beeswax is the purest of all natural waxes.  Besides the beauty and health benefits found in our 100% pure beeswax Honey Candles®, beeswax can be used in many ways.

It is a precious wax that is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic and non-allergenic.  So that you don’t waste any beeswax you can “feed” bits of leftover beeswax from your candles into the melt pool of newer pillars.

Some of the many other uses are:

  • as an ingredient in making your own body lotions and lip balms
  • to line baking pans to prevent certain pastries from sticking and to create a crispy crust
  • to create textile designs in the art of Batiking
  • as a mustache or dreadlock wax
  • as an ingredient for making natural grafting wax
  • to rub on garden tools to prevent rusting
  • to wax thread for sewing, beading and leather work
  • as an important component in the ancient and beautiful Ukrainian art of decorating eggs
  • to coat nails and screws to prevent the wood from splitting
  • as a lubricant on drawers, hinges and zippers
  • as part of a blend of oils for furniture polish and toy finishes
  • These are only a few suggestions as there are many uses, both ancient and new, that meet today’s environmental standards.
